Crafted from carefully selected Syrah grapes and harvested entirely by hand, this Reserve reflects Downtown Urban Winery's philosophy of small-scale, handcrafted winemaking. Following fermentation in stainless steel, malolactic fermentation takes place in barrel before the wine matures for 10 months in French oak – one-third new barrels, one-third second-use, and one-third third-use barrels. This carefully balanced oak maturation adds depth, texture, and complexity without overpowering the wine's expressive fruit and distinctive Syrah character.
